Diesel Engine Reconditioning. Our workshop is equipped to handle all classes of repair to your vehicle, we have modern cleaning equipment including Furlan Rotary Parts Washer, A full size caustic hot tank for complete chemical cleaning of all ferrous metal parts, High pressure hot wash & various degreaser based parts washers. Thorough cleaning is the basis of a good job as well as a clean workshop, tools & dedicated assembly area with clean benches. Environmentally all cleaning fluids are trapped in a pit & is then pumped into a separator which removes all oils & chemicals before discharging water into the sewer. We have installed this equipment to protect our environment & was not a mandatory requirement. Once all parts are clean they are inspected for cracks & damage before carrying out any machining work. Cylinder boring can be done in our workshop as we have our own boring machine & honing equipment. When all machining is completed all parts go through another thorough cleaning session to remove all machining swarf & honing grit. We are now ready to assemble your engine checking, measuring & recording clearances & specifications at all stages of assembly.
